Womens' Pistol 1 Class

Service Description

This is an course design to help women explore the world of self defense pistol work and find a community of like minded ladies to share experiences with pistols, gear, ranges, ect. We'll discuss firearm selection, safe storage, legally transporting your firearm, how to train for pistol proficency, the elements of marksmanship and much more with a special focus on pistol selection for home defense vs. concealed carry. We'll also discuss some of the misconceptions about women in the firearms industry, i.e. just because it's pink and small doesn't make it a great gun for a woman. This class and Women's only Pistol 2, or a conventional Pistol 2 course, is a prerequiste for the women's only action range classes, giving participants a place to practice real world skills in safe and guided sessions focusing on close quarters pistol work for self defense.
