Pistol 2
Pistol proficiency
Service Description
This four hour class picks up where Pistol 1 left off. You have your pistol now and your comfortable shooting it, sort of. So how do I make a plan to train for specific skills with my pistol? Which skills should I start with? Can I do things besides go to a range so that I can practice more? If we understand that being a good shooter requires constant practice, then it makes sense to decide what shooting sport a person would like to pursue and start the path. We'll talk about some of the options in the bay area and connect you. We'll also spend a couple hours on the range learning to practice our skills with drills, timers, and note taking. You'll walk out of class with the beginning of your shooter's plan complete with instructions and time based objectives. We'll talk about IDPA, USPSA, Steel shooting, and other pistol based sports to get you into the larger shooting community. Then we'll hit the range for a couple hours to do some drills and start our logs.
