Service Description
In this four hour course we'll go over bolt action rifles as they relate to distance shooting for precision, recreation, and pleasure. We'll discuss calibers, scopes, ammunition and some of the gear and knowledge needed to get into shooting longer distances more precisely. We will discuss: Firearms safety for all firearms Why are bolt guns still relevant in the world of semi-automatics? The principles of rifle marksmanship Scope options and choosing the appropriate scope for your intended use How to evaluate our targets This course is intended to be the first of a series of distance shooting course that will be of interest to aspiring hunters and precision shooters. The topics presented will be relevant to both sports until the students master 400-500yrd shots. There will be a live fire portion with standing, kneeling, and prone shooting with our firearms of .22lr, .223, and 6.5 Creedmore calibers. Ammuntion prices are included in the course fees.
